Our technology allows fishermen to steam to their location, see their traps’ actual locations on a chartplotter, and call them to the surface with the touch of a button. Once at the surface, deck operations remain almost unchanged.
And when it comes to gear location, everything is automated. Our system knows when traps hit the water and automatically record their location. Simply set your traps and steam away.
No need to mark GPS coordinates. No referencing or reporting to a universal database. No ship maneuvers required to perform acoustic surveys.

We developed a technique called Single Ping Positioning™ which locates submerged traps while approaching a fishing location - without special ship maneuvers. You can even distinguish between a single trap and a multi-trap trawl.
Our Respond Once Technology™ prevents continuous interrogations from passing ships, saving battery life on submerged systems and ensuring a safe recovery.
Submerged System Configurations
Ropeless RISER™
Trap-mounted configuration
Designed for single traps and shallow water trawls, the trap mounted configuration of Ropeless RISER™ features a self-contained design that installs directly to the outside of any lobster or crab trap. This configuration includes a rolled 200 pound lift bag and a 19 cubic foot compressed gas cylinder.
Ropeless RISER™
Deep Water Anchor Configuration
Built for offshore lobster and crab fishing, the anchor configuration of Ropeless RISER™ is outfitted with a larger air cylinder and lift bag to increase depth and lift capacity when fishing multi-trap trawls. Ropeless RISER™ Anchor is configured with an 80 cubic foot compressed gas cylinder and a 550 pound flotation bag.
